The BBC launched BBC Verify – which is supposed to be their fact-checking service. It costs taxpayers £100,000-a-month and could be better served uncovering what many believe to be rampant political bias coursing through the organisation.

They have presented guests as ordinary legal experts, tax experts or medical professionals…and then you look. Into their background and shock horror, they’re actually Labour Party activists.

They’ve also pumped us full of absolutely ridiculous woke rubbish – Antiques Roadshow refused to value an item because it’s linked to the slave trade, Eastenders discusses climate change and likened Brexit to covid and Dr Who, which is on the brink of being cancelled, decided that Isaac Newton wasn’t white..

On issues like Pakistani rape gangs, they appear to have more time devoted to a fake grooming gang scandal on the iPlayer.

They seemed very reluctant to publish too much about the 50 towns and cities where girls have been raped on an industrial scale. Maybe that would clash with their beloved multiculturalism.

So now people who watch Netflix or Disney+ might be forced to pay the licence fee even if they never watch the BBC.

That would be a tax on people who simply own a television. To fund absolute guff like a trans student getting upset because their grandma, who has dementia, called them the wrong name.

But of course it’s all worth it, for their insightful, award-winning, top notch journalism..

Airing a documentary that doesn’t tell the viewer that the child narrator is the son of a Hamas terrorist.

I have to ask – why on earth are we forced to pay £170-a-year for this rubbish?
