York Regional Police are on the hunt for a pair of suspects after homes were set ablaze in a targeted arson attack in King Township.

Police said they responded to a fire Saturday at about 6:30 a.m. in the 15th Sideroad-Charles Baker Dr. area, where officers found two under-construction homes engulfed in flames in a new-build residential neighbourhood.

No one was injured as the homes were unoccupied at the time.

Police said video shows two suspects arriving in a newer-model Dodge Durango before retrieving jerrycans from the trunk. They approach the homes and light them on fire before fleeing eastbound on Bud Willmot Way.
