A baby has been taken to hospital in Edmonton in serious condition following a dog attack west of Edmonton early Sunday.

RCMP said officers responded a home in the Evansburg area around 7:30 a.m.
A public information officer for STARS air ambulance said the service was dispatched to the area around the same time for a “pediatric patient involved in an animal-related incident.”
The baby was taken to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton.
Neither the RCMP or STARS provided information on the age or gender of the victim.
Evansburg is approximately 110 km west of Edmonton.
