Ruben Amorim has reacted after his Manchester United side lost 1-0 to Tottenham on Sunday.
James Maddison scored the only goal of the game in the 13th minute, with the playmaker tapping home after the ball was parried into his path by Andre Onana.
The result leaves United sitting 15th in the Premier League table.
They continue to look a shadow of the team that previously dominated the top flight under Sir Alex Ferguson, much to Amorim’s dismay.

United were without a host of big players for the match in the capital.
But Amorim is confident that a few players will return, while the 40-year-old has vowed to ‘start over’ once the season is done – which can’t come quickly enough.
“It was the difference of the game, they scored and we didn’t,” he told the BBC.
“We had the opportunities. We had situations in transitions, trying to get a result, but in the end they scored and we didn’t.

“We want to recover the players, I think we can recover some players for the next game.
“We have to be together to finish the season and start over.”
Amorim named eight academy players on the bench.
But Chido Obi-Martin was the only star to come on, despite United chasing a goal.
On his decision not to introduce more youngsters, Amorim added: “It is the hardest competition in the world. I am trying to be careful with them.
“I felt the team was pushing for the goal and I felt I don’t want to change. But they will play.
“You try to read the game, understand what you see in training. The team were pushing for the goal and I didn’t feel the need to change.
“I am not worried. I understand our fans, what the media think about it. I hate to lose, that feeling is the worst.

“The rest I am not thinking about. I am here to help my players. I understand my situation, my job, I am confident on my work and I just want to win games.
“The place in the table is my worry, I am not worried about me.”
Jamie Redknapp, meanwhile, was scathing in his assessment of United’s display.
“If you’re having a bad run and there’s a team you want to come to town, it’s Manchester United,” he said on Sky Sports.

“They’re a team that’s struggling, devoid of confidence, devoid of quality with loads of injuries.
“Casemiro was the only sort of defensvive midfield player in there. They’re a team that’s really struggling now and there’s going to be a lot of pain with this team.
“They’re so short of top players. It’s going to take a lot of time and these performances are going to be coming thick and fast.
“They’re going to need time and patience, the problem is when you’re Manchester United, you don’t want to hear that. You want to be winning. You’re used to challenging.”
