Emmerdale fans are speculating about the latest dramatic turn of events following Friday night’s episode, which left viewers in suspense over who died in the shocking limo crash.
The tense instalment saw Caleb Milligan (portrayed by Will Ash) confront Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) about having an affair with his wife, Ruby (Beth Cordingly).
Compounding the drama, the limousine was crammed with some of the male villagers, including Mandy Dingle (played by Lisa Riley), while Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) drove another limo filled with some of the female villagers and Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).
In a twist, Mandy and Liam had switched vehicles because Liam intended to pop the question to Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter). But as Caleb’s rage escalated against Cain, he floored the limo, leading to a catastrophic accident.
Caleb, upon being questioned about the veracity of the rumour, retorted: “Like I’d lie about something like that,” reports Leeds Live.

Cain tried to downplay the affair, saying, “It wasn’t like that,” and “I can explain. It meant nothing.”
An irate Caleb yelled back: “Did you hear that? My wife meant nothing to him. Well, she means everything to me.”
Then, the scene switched abruptly to Liam trying to propose to Chas; however, just as the show neared its conclusion, Charity gasped sharply, hinting at an impending collision between the two limousines.
While the show’s creators have kept tight-lipped on the characters’ fates, fans have been quick to theorise online, suggesting that the tragedy might claim more than one villager’s life.

The soap has released a captivating clip that leaves fans speculating over the identity of someone trapped beneath an icy lake, but who exactly is it?
On a Facebook fan page dedicated to the show, various theories blossomed following a shared screenshot that appears to reveal it was the girls’ limo that met with disaster in the lake. One eager fan commented: “YES! ! finally been confirmed. It’s the girls’ limo! Knew it, can’t wait for next week.”
Another viewer, pondering the fate of popular characters, posted: “I think Liam died cos Cain is seen upset at the grave in the trailer, and he and Liam were friends.”

The speculation mounted as other names were thrown into the hat, including “I think Amy and Liam” and one suggesting “Liam or Chas.”
Hints from floral tributes also fuelled the guessing game, with a fan stating: “Yes, and flowers spelt a name with four letters,” Meanwhile, one sleuthing viewer added their intriguing spin, speculating: “I think Tracey and Liam and I think they will find Anthony’s body.”
