Nearly 150 properties sold for more than a £1m in the Bristol region last year. There were a total of 141 houses which sold for over £1million in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area in 2024.
The most expensive house that was sold in the region last year was called White Oaks on Manor Road in the Abbots Leigh area of North Somerset, in the outskirts of Bristol. This property sold for £4.8m.
That’s followed by nearby 23 Canynge Road which sold for £4.0 million. The Clifton property is listed on Rightmove as being semi-detached, having five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Number 21 West Mall changed hands for £2.6 million, while Lime Breach on Cadbury Camp Lane and Old Sneed Park Farm both sold for £2.5 million. Cadbury Camp Lane is known for having some of North Somerset’s most high end properties and is in fact known by locals as “millionaires row”.
In the past the leafy lane of large, detached properties has been home to celebrities including Carol Vorderman and the late Eddie Large. The private lane is also where many local successful business people choose to call their home.
According to Rightmove, Lime Breach is a detached house with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It sits in 11 acres of land and also includes an indoor swimming pool on the lower ground floor.

Mariners Drive, where Old Sneed Park Farm is, has previously been listed as one of Bristol’s most expensive streets. And we paid it a visit back in 2020 to find out what life is like in the street.
Another property sold on Mariners Drive last year, with number 16 selling for £2.4 million.
And here are some more examples of expensive houses that sold in the area last year. Unsurprisingly, quite a few of them are in the BS8 and BS9 areas which include Clifton, Stoke Bishop and Sneyd Park.
