Dara Huang left the UK with her son Wolfie on Valentine’s Day just weeks after a surprise U-turn.
The American architect took to social media to announce she had travelled to Miami with her eight-year-old son, whom she co-parents with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the current husband of Princess Beatrice.
Huang shared clips of Wolfie dressed in a lime green T-shirt and blue shorts pushing a black suitcase through the airport.
She captioned the clip: “Welcome to Miami,” accompanied by several palm tree emojis.

The architect grew up in Florida but moved to the UK to spearhead her career.
Huang gave frank insights into life between the two cultures two weeks ago when she talked about her complicated relationship with both the US and Britain.
She acknowledged Britain’s educational strengths while praising American attitudes in an interview with Tatler.
Huang added that she could eventually wish for her son, Wolfie, to receive his education in the US.

She explained: “England is known for its education because it’s strict and regimented. But I love the American spirit and that’s something they don’t really teach you here.”
However, this was a surprise U-turn, as the architect had previously expressed relief over her son’s schooling in Britain while criticising American school safety.
She alluded to the frequent problem of mass shootings in American schools in her remarks.
“I’m glad my son doesn’t go to school in the USA. I can sleep at night knowing he won’t die at his desk tomorrow morning,” Huang said online back in 2022.

Huang was previously engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a British-Italian aristocrat and fellow property developer.
Edoardo split up with the mother of his son in 2018, and he went on to marry Princess Beatrice two years later.
The royal couple share two daughters, Sienna, three, and Athena, who was born in January.
