Philadelphia Eagles player CJ Gardner-Johnson has sparked controversy at the Super Bowl victory parade by wearing a provocative custom sweatshirt mocking Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The sweatshirt bore the message “Swifties can LIX my balls”, with LIX being the Roman numerals for 59 – referencing the Eagles’ Super Bowl triumph.

The bold display came as thousands of Eagles supporters gathered in Philadelphia for Valentine’s Day celebrations following their team’s victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Gardner-Johnson had previously stirred tensions by sharing a photo of himself confronting Kelce, captioning it: “Should’ve Stayed with that thick s***”, apparently referencing Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole.

Swift’s devoted fanbase retaliated by targeting Gardner-Johnson’s mother’s restaurant with negative reviews.

King’s Grill, owned by Delatron Johnson in Rockledge, Florida, was flooded with one-star reviews calling it “horrible” and “underwhelming”.

Google has since removed the recent reviews, while Yelp disabled comments after triggering an “Unusual Activity Alert”.

Swift’s Super Bowl experience turned sour when she appeared on the jumbotron at Caesars Superdome, met with emphatic booing from the sold-out stadium.

The pop star appeared startled by the hostile response from the crowd.

Former President Trump, who attended the match as the first sitting President at a Super Bowl, later mocked Swift on Truth Social, writing: “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

Eagles fans began celebrations in the early hours, with elaborate displays mocking their Kansas City rivals.

One group displayed a hog roast featuring a wig and the number 15 seared into its side – the jersey number of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Supporters were also spotted carrying a coffin through the crowds with “RIP Chiefs” written across it.

Jason Kelce, Travis’s brother, later joined the festivities with a beer in hand as the celebrations continued.
