GB News host Eamonn Holmes has brutally mocked Elon Musk and his son X Æ A-Xii after his controversial appearance at the Oval Office on Tuesday.

The head of newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), made his first appearance in the role alongside President Donald Trump – but brought along his four-year-old son with him.

The President grew increasingly frustrated as X Æ A-Xii became a prominent distraction, playing to the cameras and telling the press crowd to “shut your mouth”.

Reacting to the appearance from the toddler, GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes scolded the X owner, claiming he “irritatingly brought along his irritating little son”.

Eamonn fumed: “You shouldn’t be bringing sprogs to the office!”

As cohost Ellie revealed X’s name, Eamonn was taken aback as he exclaimed “what the heck?”

Ellie explained: “He’s called X Æ A-Xii. I don’t know actually how you pronounce it, but it’s spelled x a e and then eight in Roman numerals.

“It’s like a science project, I think they call him X for short. I think it’s quite nice he came into the Oval Office, he was very cute.”

Eamonn made a face and mocked X as he retorted: “Don’t be ridiculous. He was making an announcement with the President of the United States, and he has his kid there who’s jumping all around on the camera doing this.”

In disagreement with Eamonn, Ellie suggested that the appearance showed a “human side” of Elon Musk, but X “stole the show”.

Delivering his scathing verdict, Eamonn added: “He was completely irritating. Would you bring your kid to work? Would that be part of your routine, would you want to do that or are they just can they become a complete distraction?

“Answer – they can become a complete distraction.”

At the press conference, Elon Musk apologised to reporters after X interrupted him, admitting: “I tell you gravitas can be difficult sometimes.”

Defending the work of DOGE, Musk stated: “It’s not just us going in and doing things willy nilly.

“It’s in partnership with the agency heads and, and I checked regularly with the president to make sure that, you know, this is what the president wants to have happen.

“So we talk almost every day and I double check things to make sure is this something, Mr President, you want us to do, then we’ll do it.”
