Bianca Censori has reportedly refused to continue filming a £20 million art film following her husband Kanye West’s latest antisemitic remarks, throwing the project into turmoil.
The 30-year-old designer, who married West in December 2022, is reportedly “deeply traumatised” by the rapper’s recent actions.
The controversial film, partially shot in Japan, was co-created by West, 47, and the couple’s creative circle, with the pair entirely funding the £20 million production.
“Bianca is deeply traumatised by Ye’s actions, and she does not align with these views at all. She is horrified by what he has done, as are so many people close to Ye,” a source told DailyMail.com.
Two producers are now reportedly on the verge of quitting the project over West’s antisemitic rants, leaving the film’s future uncertain.
The situation has reached “a standstill” with production currently paused due to Censori’s refusal to continue shooting.

The couple sparked controversy at the Grammy Awards on February 2 when Censori appeared only in a completely transparent mini dress.
Following the awards ceremony, West unleashed a series of antisemitic, homophobic and sexist remarks on social media platform X.
The rapper declared himself a Nazi, expressed love for Hitler and insisted he has “dominion” over his wife.
The fallout was swift, with West losing a £16 million deal to perform two shows at the Tokyo Dome in May after horrifying Japanese audiences with the Grammy Awards incident.
Lip-readers at the ceremony claimed they observed West telling Censori “she was making a scene.”
After the red carpet appearance, West wrote on X: “My wife’s first red carpet opened a whole new world. I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night. Thinking wow I am so lucky.”
The rapper later posted he would “never trust or work with Jewish people again” and refused to apologise for his views.
The film reportedly focuses on exploring themes around nudity and features an all-female cast.
The project argues that “shame over being naked is not natural to humans” and that “obscenity exists only in the mind,” according to earlier reports.
While filming had recently wrapped in Japan, additional shooting was scheduled at an undisclosed location before Censori’s withdrawal.
“She is so put off by this that she is currently refusing to continue shooting,” the source revealed to DailyMail.com.
The film was intended to explore the female body as “something to showcase,” with Censori playing a starring role.
“With production paused over Bianca’s refusal to continue, the future is uncertain,” the insider added.

The couple’s creative project has now joined a growing list of controversies surrounding West’s recent behaviour.
West’s controversies continued during the Super Bowl when he aired a self-recorded 30-second advertisement filmed at a dentist’s office on his iPhone.
The ad, which CNN reports was only shown in select markets rather than nationally on Fox, encouraged viewers to visit his website.
Shortly after deleting his X account, West’s website was taken offline after he removed all content except for a single white T-shirt featuring a swastika symbol, priced at £16.15.
Shopify, which processed the website’s orders, subsequently removed West’s shop from their platform.
A Shopify representative told People Magazine the shop “did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms.”
West had previously posted on X expressing gratitude to Elon Musk for giving him a platform to “vent” and criticised Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl before removing his account.
