An unidentified man is wanted after a horrifying kidnapping attempt in Brampton in November.
In a news release issued on Tuesday, Peel Regional Police said the victim was walking in the Williams Pkwy.-Murray St. area on Nov. 22 at 3:15 p.m. when she was approached by a male suspect who made conversation with her and asked her to come with him several times. When she refused, police said the suspect grabbed her and a struggle ensued, at which point the suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a firearm.
Police said the victim was able to reach 911 and the suspect fled the scene in a Black Hyundai Elantra.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10 East Indian man with a Punjabi accent, dark complexion and a slim build. He is about 25-28 years old with short, black, curly hair, a short goatee and brown eyes.
