Fans of The Chase were left fuming at their television sets as they complained that the popular quizzing show has “never been this bad”.

Presenter Bradley Walsh was back at the helm on Wednesday (February 12) with a brand new set off contestants hoping to win big.

With contestant number one, Jack, gaining an incredible £8,000 in his cashbuilder, fans were hopeful that the episode would produce promising results.

But things quickly turned sour when Jack decided to take the lower offer of £3,000 when faced with chaser Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty at the table. After being unexpectedly caught out by Anne, things continued to go downhill, with player number two, Laura, following a similar fate.
