The Chase viewers ‘switched off’ after Bradley Walsh’s remark towards a contestant sparked outrage.
On Tuesday’s instalment of The Chase, ITV viewers saw Bradley Walsh welcome four contestants to the show, all hopeful of walking away with some cash.
First up to try and put some money in the cash pot was 60-year-old Sarah. Wanting to know more about her background, Bradley asked what she does for a living.
Explaining that she was a miniature artist, Bradley made a joke about her height, as he commented: “Oh well, you look big enough to me!”
Sarah laughed as she replied: “I’m quite short.” However, viewers were quick to slam the host, accusing him of making the remark in relation to the woman’s weight.
