The Duchess of Sussex is set to leave the Invictus Games in Canada today to return to California, where her two children await her arrival.
Meghan, 43, has been supporting Prince Harry, 40, at the Games for wounded and sick service personnel in Vancouver and Whistler since Saturday.
Sources close to the couple confirmed her departure was pre-planned.
A source said: “This was always planned. Meghan is going home to be with her children.”

They told the Sun: “This is Prince Harry’s event and she is there to support him but this was planned.”
The Duchess is expected to attend today’s events before flying back this evening.
Prince Harry will remain at the Games until the closing ceremony on Sunday.
During their time at the Games, the couple were seen sharing intimate moments, including kisses and hand-holding at various events.

The Sussexes attended star-studded performances at the opening ceremony, featuring Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado and Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
Meghan was spotted filming selfie-style videos backstage with Nelly Furtado, with Prince Harry photobombing one of their clips.
The couple were also seen enjoying pints of beer at the luxury Whistler ski resort, braving temperatures of -11C.
Chris Martin thanked Harry during his performance, joking: “When he called me he said, I’ve called every other musician in the world, they all said they’re not available so I have to call you.”
