Travis Kelce is reportedly unhappy with Donald Trump after the US President took a dig at Taylor Swift following Sunday night’s Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs had gone into the showdown hoping to win the tournament for the third year on the trot after previous triumphs in 2023 and 2024.
But that didn’t happen in New Orleans, with the Philadelphia Eagles winning 40-22 to secure glory.
After the game, Trump couldn’t resist a dig at Swift.

The pop star, who has been in a relationship with Kelce ever since 2023, was booed by fans inside the ground.
Trump wrote in his Truth Social Platform: “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift.
“She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”
That came after the US President had previously shared a post from a different account that mocked Swift. While she was booed, he was cheered by those in attendance.

According to the Daily Mail, however, Kelce has been left far from impressed by Trump’s actions.
“Travis believes that it was unnecessary for Trump to take a dig at her especially after he voiced that he was honoured for a president to be there,” an insider is quoted as saying.
“After Taylor being shut out for a Grammy and Travis losing the biggest game of the year it just hasn’t been a good week for them.
“But he knows that even though this is not a happy ending to the season having her love gives him so much joy.”

Since the defeat, Kelce has fronted up.
He admits the Chiefs were second best throughout the contest and that they never really got going on the night.
“[We] couldn’t get it going offensively,” said the tight end.
He then added: “I mean, they just got after us on all three phases and then on top of that, you know, turnovers, penalties, playing behind the sticks on offense.

“We haven’t played that bad all year. You don’t lose like that without everything going bad.”
Kelce did, however, back his team-mates and insisted they should be proud of their efforts despite crashing to an agonising defeat.
“Even with the score late, we were always gonna fight,” he continued.
“We just couldn’t find that spark. We couldn’t find that momentum.”

While it was a painful night for the Chiefs, it was the Eagles’ first Super Bowl triumph since 2018.
They’ve now won the tournament twice in their history, having beaten the New England Patriots seven years ago.
