One happy shopper praised it: “Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum is a playful fruity-floral fragrance with red berries, dragon fruit, and jasmine, softened by coconut water and vanilla in the dry-down. Light and cheerful, it’s perfect for spring and summer daytime wear. Moderate longevity and a whimsical bottle make it a charming, feminine choice.”

A third commented: “Smells amazing and works for every occasion! Perfect for everyday use or saving for special occasions. The fragrance lasts really well on skin. My favourite perfume to date. And it comes in a slightly quirky but beautiful bottle which is a bonus- and looks great on my dressing table!”
A fourth enthused: “This perfume smells wonderful, I have worn it EVERY day since I purchased it. It smells so fresh and pretty and I have had numerous comments on it. The bottle is just STUNNING too! “.
However, not all feedback was glowing, as one customer expressed disappointment with the scent’s staying power, saying: “I loved this perfume trying it in store on paper cards, and last so long and smell amazing on the paper! Then I bought it and it doesn’t smell anything on me even with like seven sprays.”
The newspaper’s fragrance aficionado, Jada Jones, advises: “I often hear people complain about the longevity of their perfume but I think it’s important to pay attention to the application. It’s best to apply perfume to clean and freshly moisturised skin. I also recommend applying one to two sprays to your pulse points such as your wrists and behind your ears. Do not then rub your wrists together, just allow the perfume to settle. If you apply this way it should last longer.”
