Locals in Vancouver have made their feelings clear on Meghan Markle as she arrived in Canada with Prince Harry on Friday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down at around 5:30pm, having flown in by private charter jet from Santa Barbara airport near their Montecito home.
The couple travelled in a three-car convoy from the airport, accompanied by their regular bodyguard, former secret service agent Chris Sanchez.
Despite freezing temperatures, onlookers gathered to welcome the pair, with Meghan spotted wearing a blue top and brown coat.

One onlooker told People: “I think it’s great that she’s coming. There is a lot of speculation about them and their marriage, but this reinforces one thing to me, at least — there is no separation.
“It looks like they present a united front when it comes to matters they both care about.”
Another said: “I’m from Toronto where Meghan filmed Suits and have been a big fan of hers. She gets a bad press, but I still like her.”
A third resident added: “I think they do a very good job and do their best to help people.

The Mail reports that the couple are staying in the hotel’s prestigious Chairman’s Suite, a £5,000-per-night accommodation nicknamed the ‘Rock Star Suite’.
The two-storey luxury space features a custom 8-foot Swarovski crystal chandelier cascading over the living area.
