A popular Bristol pub which has just been named among the hardest pubs in the UK to get to has unveiled when it will reopen for the 2025 season. The much loved riverside pub and restaurant is situated on the banks of the River Avon at Conham Park, in a tucked away location among greenery.
Many visitors travel to the riverside bar from the city centre via ferry boats, although it is also accessible by road. Popular in the warmer months, and also for weddings and Sunday roasts, the venue draws in both locals and visitors alike, and puts on plenty of live music and events during its open season.
From April to October, you can enjoy riverside food, drinks and live entertainment at this much loved pub, which is also pet friendly. And according to its official website, Beeses will open for its 2025 season on Friday, April 11. It’s also now taking wedding and group bookings for 2025 and 2026.
When open, Bristol Ferry Boats will be running the regular Friday night trip from Welsh Back Ferry Landing to Beeses. The ticket price includes your journey to Beeses and entry into Beeses band nights (the ferry companies can’t make every Friday as the tide is sometimes too high, however there will still be a live band – check Bristol Ferry Boats website for available trips).
You can view the full calendar of events and live music here. The line-up includes Dappa Don & The Playaz on opening night, with Vincent Flatts Final Drive on April 18, The Relay Rips on April 25, and the Mexican Tequila Fest on April 26, with acts to be confirmed.
There will also be Briz Day on April 19, Brislington’s Annual community event, as well as the famous Beeses Easter Weekend Special on April 20, a Sri Lankan dining event on May 15, a Blues event on May 31, Caribbean and Reggae Party on June 21, Cheese & Wine Fest on July 12, and much much more. Come October, there will even be a special one-off Canadian Thanksgiving dinner at Beeses.
