Abdukodir Khusanov equalised for City in the 56th minute before sub Kevin De Bruyne made it 2-1 in the 79th minute.

The 20-year-old is on loan from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, where he has already played four first team games.

Donley was born in his father’s hometown of Antrim in 2005, before moving to England.

Unfortunately for the Green and White Army, Donley switched international allegiances from his native Northern Ireland to his mother’s homeland of England in 2021 after playing for the country of his birth at both U17 and U19 level.

Donley has subsequently represented England at both U17 and U19 level. While it is possible he could switch back to Northern Ireland, he is currently committed to the English FA.

The Leyton Orient side that faced City at Brisbane Road also featured current Northern Ireland midfielder Ethan Galbraith. The Manchester United youth product has four international caps to his name.
