BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty issued a stern warning to her guest as she stopped him from uttering a “rude word” on live television.
On the February 7 episode, Naga and co-presenter Charlie Stayt provided viewers with the day’s top news stories from both the UK and around the world.
The show featured former Coronation Street actor Nigel Havers, who joined them on their iconic red sofa to discuss his career and upcoming tour.
But, before Nigel could delve into his tour details, Naga swiftly intervened, cautioning about the potential for controversy due to the tour’s title containing an offensive word.

Naga expressed her interest by stating: “You know what I’m most fascinated about? Obviously, we can’t say the name of your tour because it has a rude word,” reports the Express.
When Nigel began to address Naga’s comment, she hastily interjected with a firm “Don’t! Don’t!”
Reassuring Naga, Nigel responded: “No, I’m not going to, I would never say it! But I did check up on this word and someone said this word in the House of Commons a year ago or so and the speaker said, ‘wait a minute,’ and he checked and said, ‘it’s fine.'”
Naga acknowledged his point, responding: “It’s fine! But we’re not going to on Breakfast telly.”

The actor complied and offered a more suitable description of his show by referring to it as “talking nonsense”.
Nigel will be embarking on his tour titled Talking B*****ks, marking his first solo outing where he promises to entertain the crowds with amusing anecdotes.
Promoting his upcoming solo performance, Nigel Havers shared a tantalising glimpse of what to expect: “Well, here it is my first ever solo show. Just me, a stage, and a lifetime of gloriously ridiculous stories to share. You’ll get the full Havers experience: charm, wit, and absolutely no running in slow motion.”

He continued, detailing the journey he’ll be taking audiences on: “I’ll be taking you on a thoroughly entertaining trot through five decades in showbiz.
“From my early days as a fresh-faced drama school hopeful, to the highs and lows of a career that’s seen me in everything from Chariots of Fire and Empire of the Sun to Don’t Wait Up and some rather marvellous West End plays and more than my fair share of Palladium Pantos.”
Nigel also teased some juicy anecdotes, adding: “Of course, there’ll be behind-the-scenes gossip, tales of triumph (and disaster), moments of sheer madness, and a fair bit of talking b****cks.”
BBC Breakfast airs Mondays-Sundays from 6am on BBC One.
