Princess Kate could be set for a scheduling conflict as a key decision looms.
The Princess of Wales may miss this year’s BAFTA ceremony as it coincides with the start of her children’s half-term holiday.
The prestigious awards event, scheduled for February 16 at London’s Royal Festival Hall, falls just as Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis begin their school break.
As a devoted mother of three, Kate has consistently prioritised family time, particularly during school holidays.

The timing presents a potential scheduling conflict for the Princess, who has previously been a regular fixture at the star-studded ceremony alongside her husband Prince William.
The Wales family traditionally spend school breaks either at their Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, or embarking on private family trips.
According to Lambrook School’s official website, the children’s February half-term begins on February 14 and runs until February 24.
The timing means the BAFTAs would fall just two days into the family’s school break.

While no specific plans have been announced for this half-term, the Wales family are known to value their private time together.
They frequently retreat to their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, during school holidays.
The family of five also enjoys taking fun trips together during these breaks, though details of such outings are typically kept private.
BAFTA film committee chairman Anna Higgs remains optimistic about the Princess’s attendance at this year’s ceremony.

Speaking last month, Higgs revealed she was “very hopeful” that Kate will join Prince William, who serves as BAFTA president, at the event.
Prince William attended the 2023 ceremony alone, marking two years since Kate’s last appearance on the famous red carpet.
The upcoming awards ceremony will be hosted by Doctor Who star David Tennant at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall.
Kate’s last BAFTA appearance showcased her signature elegant style.
