A 26-year-old woman faces six charges after a joint investigation by the OPP and Peterborough police led to the seizure of large amounts of fentanyl and cocaine.

Cop says in the summer of 2024, the joint probe began into drug trafficking activity throughout Peterborough and the surrounding area and on Jan, 28, 2025, five search warrants were executed in Peterborough, Durham Region and York Region.

As a result, approximately 1.5 kilograms of suspected fentanyl, approximately1.6 kilograms of suspected cocaine, 30 oxycodone tablets, more than $5,000 in Canadian currency, eight cellphones, digital scales and one laptop were seized.

Tirath Odea, of Peterborough, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime, two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine and fentanyl) and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking (other opioid).
