A man out on bail for previous similar offences has been charged once again after a Milton chop shop was shut down for a third time.

Halton Regional Police said the 26-year-old Brampton resident was arrested on multiple charges after a stolen vehicle was found at a rural address in Milton.

In a news release issued Thursday, cops said the service’s Organized Crime Unit opened an investigation on Jan. 19 into a stolen vehicle that had been found by Halton officers at Khan Traders at 4446 Trafalgar Rd.

The recovered vehicle had been reported stolen in Toronto in 2024.

A search warrant was executed with further evidence allegedly discovered that was consistent with the operation of an active chop shop – where stolen vehicles are dismantled so that parts can be sold – at the location.

A second search warrant was executed on Jan. 31 at a home in Brampton where Haider Ameer Khan was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and two counts of failure to comply – being on a release order.
