A karaoke event like no other is coming to Bristol this weekend, giving fans the chance to sing alongside Eastenders’ very own Barry Evans.
Barrioke, a ‘feel good karaoke party’ event that’s been touring venues and festivals up and down the UK for several years, is stopping off at the Clock Factory at Central Warehouse on Saturday, February 8. And tickets are on sale now, priced at £16.80.
Shaun Williamson, Eastenders‘ Barry, is also known for his roles in Extras (alongside Bristol’s own Stephen Merchant), and Life’s Too Short (Merchant, Ricky Gervais and Warwick Davis). With a huge singing voice, Shaun has partnered with the organisers of the World Karaoke Championships, Singa Karaoke, to bring his live karaoke nights to fans.
Some of the famous names that have attended in the past include Chris Moyles, Sam Fender, Pete Wicks, Sam Thompson and Rag n Bone Man, to name but a few. According to the event description on his official Barrioke website: “Shaun hosts Barrioke with his trademark warm and jovial manner, accompanying and singing with audience and guest participants on stage, creating a riotous, joyous moment that people will never forget.
“This is the ultimate Insta moment, something people will talk about and want to be part of.”
As well as Bristol, Shaun will also be visiting the likes of The Cheese & Grain in Frome (May 1), and Butlin’s Big Weekender in Minehead (March 30). He’ll even be performing at festivals including Truck Fest, and the Mighty Hoopla, among many more.
Several of the 2025 Barrioke dates have already sold out due to huge demand. And, what’s more, you can get your hands on a piece of your very own Shaun Williamson merch in the form of your very own Barrioke t-shirt for £10.
