The latest series of Daisy May Cooper’s dark comedy filmed in Bristol has been hailed as “beautifully messy” by fans following its eagerly anticipated return.
The second series of Am I Being Unreasonable, written and headlined by Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli, picks up with the character Nic in the midst of a panic attack as the second series unfolds.
Nic (Daisy May Cooper) believes she has successfully gotten away with murder and now finds herself cohabiting in a caravan with her dubious best friend, Jen (Selin Hizli). At the same time, she’s attempting to repair her relationship with her husband Dan (played by Dustin Demri-Burns) and is troubled by her son Ollie’s (Lenny Rush) behaviour.
The second series of this enthralling comedy thriller premiered on BBC One on Wednesday evening (February 5), with the entire series simultaneously dropping on BBC iPlayer.
The Mirror reports faans expressed their joy at the return of the acclaimed series to the BBC, with some dubbing Am I Being Unreasonable? a “twisted treat”.

Bristol’s Bottle Yard Studios was one of the filming locations for Am I Being Unreasonable? as the production team behind the twisted comedy thriller returned to the studio.
Filming also took place at West Country locations including Wookey village in Somerset and Chavenage House in Gloucestershire.
Award-winning actor Lenny Rush ( Doctor Who, Dodger) is back for the new series, reprising his BAFTA-winning role as Ollie, Nic’s son, for which he also won two Royal Television Society Awards.
A talented ensemble of actors returns, including Dustin Demri-Burns (Cardinal Burns, Slow Horses), David Fynn (Daddy Issues), Juliet Cowan (Back to Life), Phil Dunning (Smoggie Queens), Georgie Glenn (Call the Midwife), Beatie Edney (Poldark), Amanda Wilkin (The Split), Helen Ann Bauer (Live at the Apollo), Marek Larwood (We Are Klang), and Karla Crome (Under the Dome).
The new series includes guest stars featuring American comedian and actor Chelsea Peretti (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Tom Davis (Wonka, King Gary), Denise Black (Queer as Folk), Jamali Maddix (Never Mind the Buzzcocks), and British rapper and poet Kojey Radical.
In an exciting on-screen reunion, Charlie Cooper joins forces with his sister Daisy May Cooper, with whom he won a BAFTA for This Country. Charlie plays Jurgen, a Dutch IT consultant who lodges with Nic’s cleaner, Viv.
Am I Being Unreasonable? has six episodes and is available on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from Wednesday, February 5.
