Aldi’s latest beauty addition could have you fooling people into thinking you’re wearing a Gucci perfume worth over £130. In reality, it costs less than £10 from the supermarket’s middle aisle.

The Lacura beauty brand is expanding to include three botanical fragrances inspired by the highly expensive Gucci Flora range. These luxurious perfumes, launching just in time for spring and Valentine’s Day, are priced at £6.99 each.

The trio of Italian-inspired floral scents – Blush Bouquet, Meadow Bouquet and Spring Bouquet – come in generous 100ml bottles. Forking out for the exact same size of the Gucci version could set shoppers back £135.

Keeping £128 in your bank account makes Aldi an incredibly affordable alternative. But, like with every SpecialBuy offer, these perfumes are only available while stocks last. Once they’re gone, they may not be restocked, reports the Mirror.

The Blush Bouquet Eau de Parfum (100ml) blends delicate pear blossom with the ‘tangy sweetness’ of red berries and Italian mandarin. It gains its ‘lush’ floral scent from gardenia, jasmine, and frangipani, which is grounded by the ‘earthy richness’ of patchouli.

The Meadow variety (100ml) uses Italian mandarin and bergamot balanced with a touch of black pepper. A ‘captivating’ bouquet of jasmine, jasmine sambac, magnolia, and damask rose blossoms, while the rich warmth of Australian sandalwood, benzoin, and patchouli create a ‘lingering allure’.

Finally, the Spring Bouquet (100ml) captures the ‘delicate floral sweetness’ of the vanilla orchid, enhanced by a touch of airy freshness. A warm, comforting base of vanilla completes the ‘unforgettable’ scent.

Aldi’s new £6.99 perfumes have been likened to Gucci’s Flora range by impressed shoppers on TikTok. One user commented: “They’re Gucci floral ones!” Another, GemmaTse, added: “No one seems to know about them! I got Blush today and they had boxes of all 3 in my local store. If you Google them nothing comes up, but blush smells identical to my Gucci flower.”

The new fragrances will sit alongside some returning favourites – some of which start selling from £5.99 for the massive 100ml bottle. Lots of shoppers have picked up on the fact they’re inspired by huge labels like Prada, YSL, Tom Ford, and Giorgio Armani.

The full list of fragrances includes:

  • Lacura Floral Love Eau de Parfum (£6.99, 100ml)
  • Lacura Prism Eau de Parfum (£6.99, 100ml)
  • Lacura Mon Amour Eau de Parfum (£6.99, 100ml)
  • Hotel Collection Pure Noir Eau de Parfum (£5.99, 100ml)
  • Hotel Collection Amalfi Brilliante Eau de Parfum (£5.99, 100ml)
  • Hotel Collection Solar Luxe Eau de Parfum (£5.99, 100ml)

The cheap sprays come to the store as part of the latest drop of limited-time products. People have been racing to get their hands on some of the other Valentine’s Day goodies on offer, including cards, chocolates and soft toys that ‘look like Jellycats’.

Some have also been collecting flowers ‘that cannot die’ and look a lot like the more expensive LEGO Botanical range. The £2.99 flowers cost a fraction of the price that LEGO asks for its sets.
