Home Bargains shoppers have been thrilled to see a new set of ‘expensive-looking’ garden items. With spring on the horizon, customers have fallen in love with two particular products they’re calling “cute” must-have additions to their gardens.
The discount store has updated its Jardin Artificial Grass range to now include delightful topiary-style animal ornaments – including a teddy bear and a puppy. Each are priced at a reasonable £19.99, which is a true bargain considering that similar looking-versions on Amazon would set you back close to £70 online.
Each ornament is described online as a “cute and easy way to add some fun to your outdoor space.” At 45cm in height and crafted from weather and UV-resistant material, these decorations promise durability against the unpredictable British climate.
However, at the time of writing, these coveted products are out of stock on the Home Bargains website due to high demand causing them to sell out. Anyone planning to revamp their garden once the winter weather clears off might have some luck if they scour their local stores in person instead.
Interest has only grown further when an Instagram user @Homewithmrsk showcased them in a video, attracting a huge response from fellow bargain hunters. Her video included a glimpse of the well-stocked shelves at her local Home Bargains, reports the Mirror, but fans fear they won’t last long.
Someone was curious about the items’ purpose, asking: “Cute but what do you do with them?” Homewithmrsk responded: “I think they are for your garden as a feature. They are beautiful.”
With the official Home Bargains account sharing her discovery to over 1.1 million followers, eager comments flooded in. One fan shared her ideas, writing: “How cute would these look in between some flowers?!”
Another added: “OH MY GOD! I need one!” A third said: “Don’t tempt me back into that shop I pretty much live there!” Meanwhile, a fourth person had similar feelings, commenting: “The dog one is so cute. I have a feeling these are going to sell out fast!”
There was another customer who had their fingers crossed for “more animals”, adding: “I’d really love a little kitty one of these!” These trendy pieces are sure to take centre stage in many gardens this spring and summer as they’re already flying off shelves.
Home Bargains has been making waves recently with an eye-catching alternative to high-end designer artwork. Shoppers were quick to point out that instead of shelling out nearly £970 for a Studio McGee piece, the bargain retailer had an option for a mere £13.
Interiors blogger Sophie Higgs, known on Instagram as @Home_by_the_cloud, showcased the “absolute bargain” to her 376k followers in a video. She displayed the artwork above her bed, dubbing it her current “bargain of the year”.
The Home Bargains website is the place to go for those looking to discover new and trending items. While some products are available for home delivery, most require a visit to the store to find.
