Belfast coffee shop Neighbourhood has now started trading from its new home in the city’s Cathedral Quarter.

The business, led by Ryan Crown and Oisín McEvoy, is now open at 61 Donegall Street, which it described as its “forever home”.

They claimed the venue brought “a warm Belfast welcome with thoughtful design and a delicious new menu packed with previous favourites and some new must-try dishes”.

The menu includes Turkish eggs, chorizo hash, banana bread French toast, porridge, pastries and “expertly brewed” coffee.

Neighbourhood Cafe has moved from a temporary home at Commercial Court, where it relocated following a fire at its old Cathedral Buildings location in 2022. Its new spot is in Sessia House, next to St Anne’s Cathedral.

Mr McEvoy said: “The opening of our new premises on Donegall Street is a major milestone in the story of Neighbourhood.

“A lot of hard work has been put in by a lot of people to ensure that our forever home in Belfast perfectly encapsulates the Neighbourhood vibe, and I think we’ve done just that.

“We wanted to create a fresh new spot that feels like a proper neighbourhood hub – a local spot where people can kick back in a booth over great food, chatting or making plans for the weekend.”

Co-founder Ryan Crown said the pair had “poured our hearts into creating this space”.

“We’re blessed that Neighbourhood Café has such a brilliant community spirit and are so excited to welcome back our friends and family, and hopefully to see a few new faces too.”
