Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Princess of Wales, is planning to open a nursery for children aged nine months to five years at her Bucklebury Farm in Berkshire.

The announcement was made on the farm’s official Instagram account, inviting interested parents to get in touch via direct message or email at [email protected].

Royal commentator Richard Eden reported that the couple “have opened discussions with locals in Berkshire about creating a childcare centre on their 77-acre farm.”

The nursery would provide a countryside learning environment for young children.

The move to open this business was likely inspired by Pippa’s mother, Carole Middleton.

Carole, 70, built her company Party Pieces into a multi-million-pound business.

Her success helped fund her children’s education at the elite Marlborough College.

While Party Pieces was later sold in 2023 following Covid-related difficulties, Pippa’s business ventures continue to flourish.

The Bucklebury Farm expansion demonstrates that success runs in the Middleton family, whether in royal circles or the business world.

Pippa and her husband James Matthews purchased the 72-acre Bucklebury Farm for £1.5million in October 2020.

The couple, along with business partner James Murray, have transformed what was previously a deer safari park into a thriving family destination. Last year, they expanded their offerings by opening the farm’s lodge for parties, events and Pilates classes.

The development marks another successful venture for the couple, who reside in a £15million estate in Berkshire, just minutes from their farm property.

The farm now features an array of family-friendly attractions, including glamping pods and ziplines for adventurous visitors.

A petting zoo forms a central part of the experience, housing more than 160 animals. Visitors can meet and interact with rabbits, donkeys, pigs, goats, and chickens at the farm.

The transformation has turned the former deer safari park into a popular destination for families seeking outdoor activities and animal encounters.

If the nursery plans proceed, Pippa’s daughters Grace, three, and Rose, two, could be among its first pupils. Her eldest child Arthur, six, has already started school.

The farm’s location has strong family ties, with the Princess of Wales and Prince William frequently visiting the Middleton family home in Berkshire. The royal couple are known to enjoy trips to the local Boot Inn pub.

Prince George even spent his first few weeks in Bucklebury rather than at Kensington Palace, highlighting the area’s significance to the family.

The farm is just minutes from the Middleton family’s £5million Berkshire home.

The nursery plans represent the latest chapter in Pippa Middleton’s growing business empire, with her personal fortune estimated at £43million.
