A young child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Co Armagh this afternoon.
It is understood the young boy is a P6 pupil and was hit by the vehicle in the Mowhan Road area of Markethill.
It is understood the child’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 3.39pm on Tuesday 4 February 2025 following reports of an RTC in the Mowhan Road area, Markethill.
“NIAS despatched an Emergency Ambulance and the Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board were also tasked to the incident.
“One person was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance.”
