The father of a teenage girl killed in a shark attack in Australia has urged people to “continue visiting beaches”, in a heartfelt plea.
Charlize Zmuda, 17, died after being attacked by a shark whilst swimming off Woorim Beach in Queensland on Monday afternoon.
The surf lifesaver suffered life-threatening injuries to her upper body during the incident, which occurred around 4:45pm local time.
