A recipe for “delicious” low calorie pizzas has been devised by the late Michael Mosley’s Fast 800 plan, and people are piling praise on the dish. As many of the nutritional expert’s followers will know, Dr Mosley and his wife Dr Clare Bailey-Mosley created the plan, which often sees individuals lose a substantial amount of weight in a short space of time.
Dr Clare and the rest of the Fast 800 team continue to share recipes and updates to “share Dr Mosley’s legacy” and a recent post on Instagram has gone down extremely well with dieters. The recipe, shared last month, shows how people can make “portobello pizzas”, using mushrooms as the base.
The update’s caption explains: “These Portobello Pizzas are quick, easy to make, and taste absolutely incredible – perfect for satisfying those Friday night cheesy pizza cravings. The healthy twist: By swapping traditional dough for portobello mushrooms, they’re made low-carb and packed with flavour.
“One of the most popular recipes on The Fast 800 programme, members love them for their cheesy comfort, rich taste, satisfying texture, and affordability.” And fans have been quick to comment.
One said: “Delicious xx love the mushroom idea xx”, while a second added: “We eat these regularly after seeing Michael and Claire cook them on one of Michael’s shows a few years ago. They’re delicious, quick, and easy. We like to have them with couscous on the side.”
A third added: “Love these… Our pizza fix for the week..” and a fourth wrote: “Planning on this for lunch one day this week. Mushrooms are in the fridge xx”.
