Silent Witness returns to BBC One with the last two-parter of the season which sees six people killed when gunfire erupts from a Syrian pizza restaurant. Nikki Alexander (played by Emilia Fox) and Jack Hodgson (David Caves) must work quickly to find the shooter before they strike again.

CCTV footage helps to identify a suspect, only he is found to have allegedly killed himself using the same unusual bullets fired in the attack. Part one of the story airs tonight, February 3, with the season finale airing the following night, February 4, at 9pm.

The usual main cast will return including season newcomers Harriet (Maggie Steed) and Kit (Francesca Mills). While investigating yet another baffling case, Nikki is busy window shopping for wedding dresses.

Sadly, for both Nikki and Jack, the nature of their work means they are unable to prioritise arrangements for such a momentous event.
