Laura Robson believes Emma Raducanu will play in both the French Open and Wimbledon this year as the tennis star looks to climb up the world rankings.
The 22-year-old is determined to have a busy schedule now she’s fully fit, having been plagued with problems over the past two years.
In 2024, Raducanu decided to skip the French Open to focus on the grass-court competitions instead.
After impressing at tournaments in Eastbourne and Nottingham she then made the last 16 of Wimbledon, which was her best performance at a major since winning the US Open in 2021.

“[Especially] for tactical things and learning how to turn around matches in slower conditions.
“Ideally you want the best of both worlds, playing well on clay and then grass.
“We’ll see what she decides – but I’m sure she wants to play a full schedule.”
Raducanu has played in the French Open just once.
Her sole appearance in the prestigious competition was back in 2022, when she crashed out in the second round.
For now, her immediate focus is on the Abu Dhabi Open – with the youngster poised to lock horns with Markéta Vondroušová in the round of 32 on Tuesday.
Raducanu is yet to hire a new coach since splitting from Nick Cavaday.
Speaking on Sunday, she outlined what she expects from her next mentor and how they can play a key role in her career.
