Aldi in Bedminster will re-open on Thursday (February 6) after having a refurbishment. The upgrades to the store in North Street will make for an ‘all-round better shopping experience and a more sustainable store’, according to the discounter.
Changes include increased chiller space, complete with new fridge doors to reduce energy consumption, as well as additional room for Specialbuys and re-designed health and beauty and bakery sections for a ‘modernised look’.
Store manager Paul Barnes commented: “The store is looking fantastic, and we are really looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers and supplying our local community with the everyday amazing products we have available.”
The Bedminster store, which employs 41 people, closed for refurbishment on February 1. Aldi is Britain’s fourth largest supermarket with more than 1,020 stores and over 45,000 colleagues.
