Hello and welcome to Ireland v England in round one of the Six Nations

The wait is nearly over as Ireland and England get ready write the next chapter in their rivalry at the Aviva Stadium.

Ireland are in search of a third Six Nations title in a row but they will have to do so with Simon Easterby in charge due to Andy Farrell’s Lions sabbatical.

England are looking for redemption after a fourth place finish last year. Despite their disappointing Six Nations campaign last year, England put a spanner in the Irish Grand Slam challenge, with Marcus Smith’s drop-goal to break Irish hearts.
