A recent survey has revealed the top 50 activities and experiences people want to do more of this year – including exercising, exploring new hobbies and getting creative.

To assist, mobile network giffgaff has created a unique ‘Spin the Wheel’ tool. This fun tool provides weekly suggestions in areas such as health, social life, and personal finance, and can even sync with phone calendars to send friendly reminders.

Whether it’s trying a new sport or penning poetry, the tool encourages people to step out of their comfort zones and explore new experiences.

The poll shows a strong desire among Brits to carve out more time for themselves and their loved ones. However, lack of time often makes this a challenge.

Ash Schofield, CEO of giffgaff says: “Whether it’s 10 minutes a day dedicated to a hobby, or spontaneous calls with friends or family these little acts can make a big difference.”

So, if you’re looking to inject more joy into your 2025, why not give this ‘Spin the Wheel’ a spin?

The poll highlighted that wellbeing is a top priority for many UK adults, with eight in ten agreeing it’s crucial to make time for activities that bring positivity into their lives.

Brits are also seeking unexpected moments of joy, such as receiving a surprise text from a loved one, engaging in a deep conversation, or having someone thoughtfully offer to make them a cup of tea.

Ash Schofield commented: “The research suggests it’s the year for ‘me’, with people hoping to dedicate time to themselves, whether for relaxation or ticking things off their bucket list.”

“Personal finance is high on the agenda, with almost a third wishing for no surprise bills this year – this is something we hope to help people avoid, with no-mid contract price rises.”
