One person has been taken to hospital after a collision in Co Tyrone.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said they received a 999 call at 1.26pm thus afternoon following reports of an RTC in the Lammy Walk area, Omagh.

It is understood that the collision involved a van and a pedestrian.

NIAS despatched one emergency ambulance crew to the incident.

A spokesperson for NIAS added: “Following initial assessment and treatment at scene, one patient was taken to South West Acute Hospital by ambulance.”
