Condé Nast’s fashion bible Vogue is being called “Conde NASTY” after an op-ed in the magazine dissed first lady Melania Trump’s official White House photograph, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

In the black and white photo, Melania is standing up and wears a dark suit, white shirt and leans forward with her hands spread out on a desk.

“Trump looked more like she was guest starring on an episode of The Apprentice than assuming the role of first lady of the United States,” and “more like a freelance magician than a public servant,” wrote the Vogue op-ed.

Now friends of Melania have their own claws out.

Pal Bill White, also President Trump’s nominee for U.S. ambassador to Belgium, told Page Six of her: “We love and adore her. We have canceled all our subscriptions to Condé NASTY. I encourage everyone who loves America to do the same.”

White also insisted Melania is “truly elegant and eloquent in all she says and does. Mrs. Trump is our most beautiful first lady … in our country’s history, both inside and out. She is a loving mother to her fabulous son Barron and an extraordinary wife and life partner to our 47th president.”

He also said: “She speaks over seven languages fluently, and is an incredibly strategic and successful businesswoman.”

The Vogue piece also said Melania’s latest White House photo was a step up from her 2017 portrait, which featured her face “airbrushed into oblivion.”

Before the diss, Melania, 54, said she has “no interest” in appearing on Vogue’s cover, telling Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade: “Look, I’ve been there on the covers – on the cover of Vogue, on the covers of many magazines before … We have so many other important things to do than to be on the cover of any magazine. I think that life would not change for anybody if I’m on the cover.”

Another MAGA loyalist told Page Six: “She knew she wasn’t going to get a cover. Half the fashion designers won’t dress her. She doesn’t give a s—.”

Wintour has yet to commented publicly on the subject.

Vogue featured former first lady Jill Biden on its cover last year.
