Barclays customers have been dealt a blow as it is understood the bank’s app and online banking services appear to be down.
The high street financial institution’s customers were not able to check their accounts on January 31, which is a pay day for millions of Britons due to it being the last working day of the month.
Responding to the reports, Barclays shared that it was aware of the issues and it was “sorry about this” and assured customers it was “working hard to fix the issue”.
“You may have trouble using some features in our app, Online Banking as well as payments in and out of your accounts – we’re also unable to help you over the telephone or our Message us service,” the bank added.
Martin Quinn, the director of the Campaign for Cash, broke down the impact of the latest outage issues being experienced by Britons.
