Bristol’s Baldwin Street is welcoming yet another new foodie venue as Little Bagel Co. announces its second site will be located here. In a post to Instagram on Wednesday, January 28, the team, who already boast a branch on the Clifton Triangle, Queens Road, said the bagels were “out of the bag”.
They added: “The rumours are true, and we’re beyond excited to share the news… Little Bagel Co. is coming to Baldwin Street! We’re also on the lookout for an amazing general manager and some brilliant new team members to join the LBC family and help make our new shop something really special. If you’re interested, head over to the jobs page on our website for all the details!
”A massive thank you to every single one of you who’s supported us so far – we truly couldn’t have done it without you. This is a huge step for us, and we can’t wait to bring even more bagel goodness to Bristol! Stay tuned for updates, and we’ll see you very soon!”
Little Bagel Co. is known for its hand-rolled New York-style filled bagels made fresh everyday. It offers a walk-in service, as well as click-and-collect and delivery, with a menu that also boasts cookies, coffee and more.
Local people and fellow Bristol foodie businesses were among those taking to the comments to share their excitement at the news. Boston Tea Party commented: “Epic news! Congrats”, while Pizzarova dubbed the news “massive”, adding “well done”.
One regular said: “Stunning! Closer to my office than ever! Congrats.” While another wrote: “I can’t wait to pop in.”
This latest addition to Baldwin Street comes after BristolLive reported back in October how the Bristol city centre spot seemed to be becoming the city’s newest hotspot for foodies. In the past year or so, it’s welcomed an alcoholic bubble tea place, new ramen bar, award-winning Thai restaurant, Asian supermarket and more.
