Mike Tyson has revealed he’s feeling ‘pretty good’ after losing to Jake Paul back in November – but has also revealed he’s not sure if he’s fully recovered.

The boxing legend went into the bout at the AT&T Stadium hoping to summon the magic of old and produce a major upset.

Yet Tyson struggled during the clash in Texas, with the 58-year-old looking every bit his age as he crashed to defeat.

Now, speaking to the New York Post, the veteran has revealed that he’s feeling ‘pretty good’.

However, he then added: “I don’t know if I’m 100 percent recovered, but I feel good.”

Many were critical of Tyson’s decision to face Paul.

Some felt it was merely a cash grab for both men, while others were displeased that the fight was sanctioned as a professional bout – rather than an exhibition.

Tyson landed just 18 punches during his fight with Paul, with his 27-year-old managing to land a total of 78.

After the clash, the 58-year-old suggested he could fight Logan Paul – Jake’s brother.

Logan looked bemused by his comments and sparked a backlash by saying that he’d ‘kill’ Tyson if they met in the ring.

However, Tyson later took to social media to describe his showdown with Paul as his ‘last’ – with the boxing legend seemingly ready to hang up his gloves once more.

In a recent interview, Tyson worryingly admitted that he ‘blacked out’ on his big return to action.

“I don’t remember the fight that much, I kind of blanked out,” he said.

“I haven’t watched the fight back.

“You know what I remember… coming back from the first round and Jake was doing some sort of bow… that’s the last thing I remember.”

Immediately after the fight, some fans suggested it was rigged.

But Paul’s company, Most Valuable Promotions, have since shut down those allegations.

“MVP would like to set the record straight regarding the contractual agreements and the nature of the fight,” they said.

“Rigging a professional boxing match is a federal crime in the United States of America. Paul vs Tyson was a professional match sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR).

“Both fighters in good faith performed to the best of their abilities with the goal of winning the fight.

“There were absolutely no restrictions – contractual or otherwise – around either fighter.

“Each boxer was able to use his full arsenal to win the fight. Any agreement to the contrary would violate TDLR boxing rules.”
