A clever radiator gadget is being praised by shoppers for keeping their rooms ‘toasty’. The SmartAir Boost Radiator Fan is winning over shoppers for its innovative approach to maximising heat circulation in homes, which it does by redirecting warm air from radiators rather than allowing it to rise and heat rooms from the ceiling down.
The portable multi-fan heat circulator is designed to save both energy and money, operating at a cost of less than half a penny per hour. It works to rapidly circulate warm air and reduce room heating times, thus ensuring your thermostat can switch the heating off sooner, leading to cost savings.
The SmartAir Boost Radiator Fan is currently reduced to £49.99 on new online marketplace Yimbly (which is owned by our parent company, Reach) from the usual £59.99. Installation is straightforward – simply position it on your radiator and it’s ready for use.
With two modes to choose from (automatic and manual), it caters to individual preferences for room temperature control. While Yimbly lists this product with a limited number of customer reviews, more than 2,000 customer reviews are available on Amazon, where the device is on offer at £53.98.

Notably, more than 1,000 of these fans have been purchased in the past month alone, reports Devon Live. Amazon shoppers have expressed their satisfaction with the product, illustrating its impact on warming homes efficiently.
One happy customer said: “The front room was so cold before purchasing. Richard Attenborough could’ve filmed a couple of episodes of Frozen Planet here. But not anymore. It’s lovely and toasty. Arctic survival gear is now on eBay. Sorry David (Attenborough), you’ll have to find a new location to film.”
Another said: “Effective in throwing out heat into the room. Fits nicely on a double radiator. Clever invention. It’s not quiet when running as advertised, though. On the plus side, you get used to fans running. Would still recommend this product.”
Another buyer offered a mixed review, writing: “I bought two of these, and once charged, they really do throw the heat out, and the room felt much warmer. However, if you don’t keep it regularly charged, the battery runs flat, and then you can’t charge it again. I was disappointed with this part as I now can’t use one of them.”
However, a third satisfied shopper said: “Delivered quickly, right at the beginning of the delivery period. It is a little bit noisier than expected, but you soon get used to it; it’s only a problem if you are trying to sleep. It could probably do with coming on automatically at a bit lower temperature than 33C, although you can put it on manually to start. It did heat the room up quicker and runs a long time on a charge, plus it is so portable and stable on our Type 22 radiators.”
Elsewhere, Dunelm is offering an alternative for those looking for different heating options, with the 2500W 11 Fin Oil-Filled Radiator priced at £59. This model boasts eleven fins, a thermostat control, three heat settings, a cable tidy, and castors for convenience. In another deal, Argos lists a Bush 1.5kW Digital Oil-Filled Radiator for £38.40.
