Shoppers are racing to get their hands on a Philips toothbrush that has been celebrated for giving a ‘sparkling’ smile and ‘next level’ teeth cleaning – plus it’s on sale. Reduced on Amazon by £80, the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4300 Electric Toothbrush in the white shade has been slashed in price from £129.99 to £49.99.
Providing up to seven times more plaque removal than the average toothbrush, the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4300 comes with a pressure sensor to ensure you’re being safe and gentle on your gnashers and gums, pulsing slightly if you push too hard.
The toothbrush has an impressive cleaning power of 62,000 bristle movements per minute that conform to the contours of your teeth. To help you get the best clean, the toothbrush also uses a SmartTimer to let you know when the two minute window is up. Recommended by dentists worldwide, the device claims to help whiten in just one week thanks to its features that keep your teeth in tip top condition.

With two intensities and a 14-day battery life, it’s a toothbrush that’ll certainly last and has received a stellar 4.4 star rating from Amazon shoppers who have got their hands on this impressive deal.

One happy shopper, who said they’d give it six stars if they could, raved: “This toothbrush is bloody amazing. I’ve always had oral B brushes, swore by them, until I bought this. This is next level teeth cleaning. I love it. Just feels like your teeth are sparkling after it.
“It’s not harsh, I think because it’s more vibratey (i know that’s not a word) it just does a better job without it being abrasive. Love it. 6 stars!!!!”
Another, who had used Oral-B toothbrushes for years, added: “I took the risk and gave Philips Sonicare a chance (got the 4300 for £65). Well well well, what a dramatic change, not only is the cleaning result much better (feels like a dentist cleaning after every use) but also the battery life is amazing.
“I use mine twice daily (approx. 4-5 minutes each time) and only have to charge it once a months which is absolutely amazing. Got mine now for 12 months and still works perfectly. Used 5 heads so far.”
Although, they did note: “Only downside for me is that the timer stops after 2 minutes and I have to turn the toothbrush on again. Would prefer if it just keeps going but it is not the end of the world. The other minor issue is that once you need a new head the brush will keep reminding you for a while which is a bit annoying if you want to use the old one for a bit longer. But this will also stop after a while and is no deal breaker either.”
Echoing the positivity, calling it a ‘game changer’, a third Amazon shopper gushed: “I didn’t realise quite how much I needed this tooth brush. I was stubborn and stuck to just using manual toothbrushes for years when everyone else around me upped their game! I can honestly say hands down that this has improved my oral care significantly, and even my dentist and hygienist have been making positive comments about the difference.
“I like that there are 2 settings and that the pressure sensor tells me when I’m brushing too hard. The battery life is also really good. I brush twice a day for 2 minutes and charge my toothbrush I’d say every 2 to 3 weeks.
“The other thing I really like is the travel case, I travel enough to use it frequently and with the exception of my toothpaste, it holds my inter-dental brush, floss stick as well as my toothbrush.”
While for the most part the toothbrush has left those looking for a new oral care routine in awe, some were disappointed in their particular toothbrush’s charging ability. One said: “Charging ability after 2 years of use is not going well. I had the company send me a new one about a year ago because it stopped working.”
Meanwhile, others found the vibrations slightly “too strong”.
