A brand new pancake restaurant is opening at Bristol’s Wapping Wharf this weekend – and the team are giving out free pancakes to the first 50 customers.
The Pancake Man is the latest addition to Wapping Wharf’s Cargo 2 and a name you may recognise from the Bristol Christmas Market and other markets in the city throughout the year. It is set to open on Saturday (February 1) and to celebrate the grand opening, the first 50 customers will receive free pancakes starting at 10am.
The restaurant, which is located next door to Loki Poke, will be serving up its popular ‘Mini Bites’, featuring ten ‘wonderfully fluffy’ pancakes topped with one spread and topping of your choice. There’s also the option to add extra toppings or spreads for an additional charge.
Once the first 50 pancakes are sold out, the full menu will then be available. The restaurant will serve pancakes, sandwiches, ‘Mini Bites’ in a variety of flavours and more, with a vast array of fillings, toppings and extras, too.
The Pancake Man offers gluten-free and lactose-free pancakes. Sharing their experience, one reviewer said: “We had the mini bites from TPM today and they were amazing!
“So nice to be able to enjoy really great gluten-free food with no risk of cross contamination and they were the nicest pancakes ever! The guy who served us was so friendly, we’ll definitely be going back. Honestly cannot recommend enough, thank you.”
Taking to the comments section under its recent announcement post to Instagram, in which it promoted its free pancake offer, fans and locals were quick to share their excitement at the news of the opening. One said: “This is huge news.”
Another said: “Just in time for Pancake Day.” And a third added: “So happy for you guys.”
