During Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid shared an unexpected admission in one of her segments.
While catching up with Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause who’s appearing on the US celebrity edition of The Traitors, Susanna, 54, and her co-presenters Richard Madeley and Richard Arnold had a surprising exchange ahead of the interview.
Showbiz host Richard, 55, made light of the impending chat by saying: “The ever Faithful Chrishell joins us now to have a hair-off with Susanna!”
Susanna interrupted to candidly express her feelings: “Yes, I’ve got proper hair envy!”
Chrishell responded lightheartedly: “Oh Susanna, I can give you a number, you can have this hair by tonight!” as Richard playfully added: “Just leave it in her dressing room, we’ll make sure it’s there for tomorrow’s show!”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react to the chat as one person said: “Chrishell is a goddess! I adore her in #SellingSunset #GMB thanks for mentioning Susanna’s hair” while a different account put: “OMG #Crishellestaus on @GMB this morning! First @neighbours now Breakfast TV! Cant get enough of this awesome, beautiful & inspirational woman #GMB.”
This revelation came not long after Susanna unveiled her new hairdo post-Christmas break. She made a comeback to Good Morning Britain earlier in the month after a substantial break.
Susanna expressed her thanks to fans in early December, announcing she’d be taking a significant break from the show for the holidays.
But after being away for three weeks, Susanna earlier this month told her followers she was set to return to our screens.
Posting a warm and inviting image of a candle on Instagram, she wrote: “Happy New Year! See you on Monday.”
During her time off, Susanna decided to switch up her style, debuting longer locks in a selfie, with the caption: “NEW YEAR NEW HAIR! After having THE CHOP in 2023, pop idol Cher told me women should keep their long hair so I am turning back time and going LONG for 2025 with hair extensions put in by @christinabhair. Let me know what you think – and see you tomorrow @gmb.”
While Susanna enjoyed her holiday hiatus, Kate Garraway stepped in to co-host Good Morning Britain with Richard Madeley.
