Police have identified the city’s first homicide victim of the year as Darapheakdey “Daral” Sovann, 27, of Toronto.
Toronto Police responded to a call on Sunday in the Bloor St. W.-Madison Ave. area of the Annex and Sovann was found with critical injuries.
First aid was administered at the scene and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
A photo of the victim has been released and police are looking for three people they say were involved in the incident. Police did not say whether the three people being sought are considered suspects.
