Fashion fans are swooning over a “lovely” M&S jacket that’s “perfect for casual days or evenings out”. The jacket isn’t only winning compliments for its “stylish” appearance; shoppers are also raving about the “amazing quality” and “cosy fabric”.

Celebrated for its versatility, the piece is hailed for “great value” with “interesting styling details”, making the trendy jacket quite the crowd-pleaser. Priced at £39.50, the M&S Collection Textured Tweed Knitted Jacket is available in two shades: neutral and thunder.

It’s been flying off the virtual shelves, with more than 100 sold on the M&S website in just the past five days and some sizes currently out of stock. However, both jackets are usually available in sizes extra small to extra large.

M&S’s alternative offerings include the £69 M&S Collection Tweed Checked Fringed Jacket, the £79 Finery London Tweed Collarless Short Jacket, and the £99 Monsoon Tweed Textured Collarless Jacket with Wool.

Reviewing the M&S Collection Textured Tweed Knitted Jacket, a pleased customer said: “Very nice jacket jumper different style that’s why I bought, ideal for the cold weather and business style so can wear for work.”

A second commented: “This is a Lovely cardigan, smart, warm and perfect for casual days or evenings out. Great value and good quality,” while yet another added their approval, writing: “Amazing Quality. Really love this cardigan. Lovely material. Will be able to wear as a jacket when the weather is better. True to size fits perfect”, reports the Mirror.

Another reviewer wrote: “Cosy fabric. Style can be made more casual or a little more formal. Interesting styling details,” while someone said: “Different, stylish, warm. Very pleased with purchase. Normally a size 14 and found Medium fitted spot on, with a little room to spare, so not tight. Nice colours. Be nice in a burgundy.”

However, not all feedback was glowing. One person commented: “I love the style and colour of this jacket. Unfortunately I have to return it as the sleeves were a little short on me. Very disappointed as I love the style.”

Meanwhile, another reviewer contributed: “Nice jacket although I haven’t worn as yet. I only gave a 4* as a bit concerned the hem might lose its shape. Hopefully this will not be the case,” and someone added: “Very nice warm smart cardigan. A bit on the small side I bought a medium (size 12 normally) and it is a little bit snug and the sleeves are just long enough so maybe size up if you like a bit baggier.”
