Kyle Walker’s wife, Annie Kilner, has reportedly refused to join her husband in Italy following his loan move from Manchester City to AC Milan.

The 34-year-old has opted to leave the Etihad Stadium in order to experience life abroad as he approaches the twilight years of a career that has seen him win six Premier League titles.

Walker was present on Sunday as AC Milan beat Parma 3-2, with the England international sitting next to club director Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to The Sun, Annie and the couple’s four children had been set to fly out to Italy to watch Walker’s unveiling at the San Siro.

Yet it’s claimed she opted against flying out after getting wind that Lauryn Goodman, the mother of Walker’s two other children, was planning on moving to Italy herself.

An insider was quoted as saying: “Annie was supposed to go on Friday but Storm Eowyn put it back until Saturday.

“Then a row over Lauryn and her future plans blew up and Annie did a full 180.

“She was also p***ed off he flew his friends out before her.

Annie decided to go clubbing with some friends instead and shared the snaps on social media.

One image shows her with braided hair, while she was also seen in a sparkly silver bikini top and blue jeans as well.

The insider does, however, suggest that Annie will still move out to Italy – but that the couple are still ‘very much’ heading towards a divorce.

They added: “Annie still expects to join him and says it’s to keep the family together, but they are still very much heading towards a divorce.

“There are those around them that think the distance between them at the moment is the best thing all round. Kyle already seems a lot happier in Italy.”

Meanwhile, many were shocked by Walker’s decision to quit City midway through the season.

The reigning Premier League champions have lost their captain at a time when they’ve struggled to perform at the peak of their powers.

“A club with such rich history, one I’ve followed since I was a kid.

“It’s an honour to join and I can’t wait to pull on the Rossoneri shirt and get started.
