Emergency services are currently at the scene of an ongoing incident in Carrickfergus.

Several emergency vehicles at the scene close to Prince Andrew Way in the town.

The incident happened shortly after 11:45am on Monday morning.

The charity Air Ambulance has also been tasked to the incident.

In a statement a spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters are currently at the scene at Broadlands Park, Carrickfergus, Antrim. Firefighters were called to the scene at 11:56am.

“There are currently 2 Appliances from Carrickfergus Fire Station at the scene and the incident is still ongoing.”
